AGA (Appropriate for gestational age)

A term for a newborn whose weight (and possibly length, and head circumference) falls between the 10th and 90th percentiles on a standard intrauterine growth chart; indicates appropriate growth for the length of time the baby was in the uterus.  An AGA baby can be preterm, term, or post term.
